I shot this Bridal Accessories editorial back in June with Amy Oram, the owner of Teeki Designs.
She pulled together an amazing collaboration of different designers garments for this shoot which was to be “everything but the dress” for the bride!
This was in the middle of Winter so the weather was absolutely terrible, luckily we had already planned to shoot indoors at a boutique studio near my place. It was the perfect setting, with an old fireplace, tall french doors and wooden floorboards - plus studio backdrops.
I decided to use all natural lighting and reflectors in the end, rather than flash. I wanted the photos to have a soft, ethereal feel to them and using flash just looked to harsh.
We had candles, lots of bouquets and rose petals and a fog machine to help set the mood too.
