I’ve been waiting a couple of weeks to be able to share this beautiful engagement film of Daniel and Tabitha with you all. As we had planned to submit it to some wedding blogs.

The mastermind behind the session was Luisa Brimble of Serendipity Corner Photography, she put together a wonderous creative team.

A little bit inspired by Kinfolk Magazine and of course the simplicity and celebration of love.
We shot this at Bangor Park in Coogee on a gorgeous warm spring afternoon. Apart from the occasional myna bird swooping down at us from the trees, it all went as planned!

Daniel and Tabitha met at a Church in Bondi Junction, Daniel noticed Tabitha immediately due to the luscious ”fro” that she was exhibiting. Being a young lad with curly locks himself, he was mightily impressed!
They had encountered each other in brief conversation a few times, but Tabitha was quite timid and at the time Daniel thought she was too young and hip for him.
Ironically 3 months later Daniel and Tabitha’s mother’s went for a coffee together and were discussing the potential of their two children being together! After hearing of this news Daniel decided he better make sure that Tabitha hadn’t got the wrong idea and thought that he had set this up, finding this all very interesting Daniel thought to himself “Why not!?” and decided to ask Tabitha to meet him for a casual drink.
From that moment on, the two of them were constantly texting and emailing each other and their love began to blossom.

For a long time their friends and family had been asking “When are you two going to get married?”, Daniel and Tabitha had often thought about the idea but wanted it to happen at the right time and not just “because”.

Over the Easter long weekend, Daniel took Tabitha to his Uncle’s farm near Mudgee.
They ate a delicious lunch with family with home grown vegetables from the farm. Completely satisfied they decided to go for a walk around the grounds and had a peaceful nap under the warm sunlight.

Daniel then took Tabitha to the farm’s Airstrip, which has a 180 degree view of over 40 kilometres looking north toward Mudgee and there overlooking the beautiful view Daniel got down on one knee and proposed to Tabitha (3 times, just to make sure she knew he was serious!).
Of course, Tabitha said “Yes Yes Yes!!”

This engagement shoot is also featured on the Australian Style Me Pretty Blog, head on over there to view all the photos and hear more about how this unfolded.
